OK, BUT WHO AM I?

Hi, I'm Altay Kaan Kahyaoglu - born in 1990 in Antalya, Turkey, with Italian roots on my mother's side and strong ties to Germany. Having grown up between different cultures - Turkish, Italian, and German - I've developed a broad perspective and a deep appreciation for diversity, creativity, and visual expression.
Even as a child, I spent hours drawing and painting, fascinated by colors, shapes, and how design can tell a story. That curiosity never left me - it just evolved into a professional passion.
After attending elementary school in Cologne, my family moved back to Turkey, where I completed my education in Antalya. I later began studying civil engineering at Yeditepe University in Istanbul, but soon realized that my real calling was in design and creativity.
Following that realization, I moved to Vienna to learn German, and later to Berlin, where I worked in gastronomy to improve my language skills and settle into a new environment. Soon after, I started my media design training at Axel Springer, where I still work today. Since 2016, I've been a graphic designer specializing in digital projects for BILD, contributing to a wide range of visual campaigns and creative concepts.
Alongside my full-time role, I also work freelance, supporting clients with branding, web design, and visual storytelling that reflect both clarity and emotion.
